Sometimes it’s great to head to the major shopping centres for a day out, but sometimes, you can’t go past your local charm! For us here at Walnut Grove, our local go-to is Old Reynella Shopping Centre, conveniently located less than 1km away.

At Old Reynella Shopping Centre the retailers are local just like us, so make sure you introduce yourself and get to know their name (as they’ll remember yours!). They know how you like your hair coloured, what your favourite cut of meat is, and, will ensure you get the freshest produce.

Regular physical activity is necessary for all of us to live a full and healthy life – how else do we keep up with our fabulous social life here at Walnut Grove? Lucky for us it’s an easy 4.1km from our community. With 60 hectares of natural vegetation and open parklands to at Tangari Regional Park, it’s just one of the few remaining large open spaces within metropolitan Adelaide.

Make the most of these designated trails, get some light exercise and enjoy a nice walk. And I hear it’s the best location for us local birdwatchers!
